{"id":1021,"date":"2008-05-17T00:43:00","date_gmt":"2008-05-17T00:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/whisper.rps.net\/?p=1021"},"modified":"2020-07-02T12:13:48","modified_gmt":"2020-07-02T12:13:48","slug":"riding-into-the-sunset","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whisper.rps.net\/?p=1021","title":{"rendered":"Riding Into the Sunset"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style='text-align:center;margin:0px auto 10px;'><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_EED4nsY1-TQ\/SC4qQgQw4aI\/AAAAAAAAAGY\/8g5sXkpdfKQ\/s1600-h\/IMG_0221.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_EED4nsY1-TQ\/SC4qQgQw4aI\/AAAAAAAAAGY\/8g5sXkpdfKQ\/s320\/IMG_0221.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>My favorite TV drama is CSI: Las Vegas.<br \/>Last night, after an edgy storyline, Wark was shot to death. <br \/>I must admit I&#8217;m grieving the loss of this character.<br \/>Earlier in the week I had heard the actor, Gary Dourdan, was arrested recently for drug use. <br \/>It was a forewarning something would happen to his character on CSI:(<\/p>\n<p>From the news report:<br \/>&#8220;CSI star Gary Dourdan was arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin, cocaine and ecstasy and prescription drugs in Palm Springs Monday.<br \/>An officer found the actor, 41, asleep in his car, parked on the wrong side of the street, at 5:12 a.m.<br \/>The officer described Dourdan as \u201cdisoriented and possibly under the influence of alcohol and\/or drugs,\u201d according to a statement by the Palm Springs Police Department.<br \/>\u201cThe officer subsequently located suspected cocaine, heroin, ecstacy, miscellaneous prescription drugs, and paraphernalia,\u201d the statement continued.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Fame is fleeting.<br \/>Creative people are fragile. <br \/>So many actors cannot handle the limelight and ups and downs of the business. It&#8217;s tough to hear, over and over, that another artistic person has fallen prey to addictions.<\/p>\n<p>CSI writers!
