and sometimes even sadness with you<\/span>
I still almost pick up the phone to call and tell you.<\/span><\/p>\n
Like an orphan on my own.<\/span>
I want you to see and to know<\/span>
each grandchild and great grandchild,<\/span>
How they look and how they’re doing,<\/span>
and my heart hurts so!<\/span><\/p>\n
that help to take your place.<\/span>
but let’s face it,<\/span>
They can really never fill your space.<\/span><\/p>\n
Your written words, each memory,<\/span>
I treasure each word, each page,<\/span>
Our Scottish heritage ingrained in me.<\/span><\/p>\n
morals, values, the love of our land.<\/span>
You worked hard at the post office and at home.<\/span>
And gradually I began to understand.<\/span><\/p>\n
We all worked together. It was in God’s plan.<\/span>
You were a great teacher, we learned of God’s love,<\/span>
We learned to always believe and have faith in our father above.<\/span><\/p>\n
Laughing until you cry!<\/span>
Even now in these circumstances,<\/span>
It still doesn’t pass you by.<\/span><\/p>\n
the women’s circle, Lobelia, the “Blues”,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
Cypress, Roseland UMC, our homeplace “Sandrock Acres”.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
These things will always remind me of you.<\/span><\/p>\n
to speak to you and you could understand,<\/span>
I would like to thank you for all the lessons you taught.<\/span>
For putting up with my faults. <\/span>
And just for you to “know” who I am again.<\/span><\/p>\n
You’ll always be in my heart!<\/p>\n
