1. I am upset that summer has us in it’s grip here in NC:( The high today was 85, with sweltering humidity:( Fall is my favorite time of year, yet warm weather is stealing autumn!!<\/p>\n

2. I have worked 3 days in a row this week, & 2 of those were subbing as manager. Let me go on record: I do not prefer to be in charge.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
3. The WIC Retreat in Blowing Rock last weekend did “rock”:) So anointed! The Lord lavished us with His Presence:)<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
4. Skye graced us with a short visit last week\/weekend:) I wish she would have stayed longer, but know she’s carving out her own place. Tough for me.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
5. Love working during the holidays:) Our store was decorated for Christmas last Thursday, & it’s wonderful to look at the pretty decorations & hear some of the Christmas songs:) Next week I begin putting out Christmas cards–a HARD job, yet enjoyable.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
6. Unexpectedly I have off tomorrow:) A gift. I am feeling so wiped out this week. And I need some quality time with my Care Receiver!! So we’re meeting for lunch at Panera’s:)<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
7. Unhappy about working all through Thanksgiving (except Thanksgiving Day) weekend, but my DEAR DIL has volunteered to host our lunch gathering–that’s so sweet! That helps:)<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
8. The McFarlands would prefer not to exchange Christmas gifts anymore; I think I’m ok with that. And I think my sister’s family probably would like to drop that tradition also. Paring down is a good thing. It’s taken me years to concede that:)<\/div>\n

9. I love my Peace Bible Study sisters:) I simply love them:) My encouragers.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
10. Wyatt had a bath today. He’s much more lovable when he’s clean & smells less “houndy”:) He’s my bud:)<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
11. Love my new Kindle! Reading “Same Kind Of Different As Me” again. It’s just as good as the first time, maybe better!!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
12. 9 days till Keith & I fly to Boston. I’m excited:) A long weekend in the Northeast, with our friend Janie:) Whoa!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
13. Oswald Chambers & C.S. Lewis are heroes of mine–2 of those in the Heavenly Hosts who are cheering me on:) Isn’t that a good thought? <\/div>\n
And, my mama & daddy are cheering too–encouraging my brothers & sister & me at the same time:) <\/div>\n
